Auhagen offers various platforms with and without roofing. In the kits in H0 and N, the platform edges are flexible, so that platforms can also be built in curves. As long as no roofing is provided, this is relatively easy. But it becomes more difficult if the platform has a roof, with filigree columns.
In this course of the Auhagen Master School, a longer platform in an arch is built from the kits "Platform" and "Platform without roofing". Special attention will be paid to a "uniform arch shape", whereby the radius is variable, depending on the conditions on the model railway layout. In addition to a light aging of all components, the roofing is designed with a realistic-looking cardboard roof.
All work steps are explained and demonstrated in detail and understandably in the enclosed film. This is divided into chapters so that the work can be followed step by step. The film is on a USB stick and can also be viewed or saved via a download link. The required modeling materials, adhesives and a priming brush are included in the course package. Also the access data for downloading the film. Additional tools are available in the Auhagen online store and can be ordered at the same time
