  • Browser software language and version.

(2) In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are deposited on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files stored on your hard disk that are assigned to the browser you use and through which certain information is transmitted to the site that has deposited the cookie (to us in this case). Cookies cannot execute a program or transmit viruses to your computer. Their purpose is to make the website more user-friendly and more efficient as a whole.

(3) Use of cookies:

a) This website uses the following kinds of cookies, the scope and function of which are described below:

  • Transient cookies (see b)
  • Persistent cookies (see c)

b) Transient cookies are automatically erased once you exit the browser. This category specifically includes session cookies. These cookies store a ‘session ID’ that allows us to assign separate requests from your browser to a common session. In this way, your computer can be recognised if you return to our website. The session cookies are erased when you log out or close the browser.

c) Persistent cookies are automatically erased after a specified time that can vary according to each cookie. You can erase the cookies at any time in your browser’s security settings.

d) You can configure your browser setting in accordance with your preferences and can, for example, decline to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. We should point out that, in this case, you may not be able to use all of the features of this website.

4. Additional features and offers of our website

(1) In addition to the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services that you may use if they are of interest to you. (2) In some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. These providers have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions, and are monitored regularly.

(3) We may also pass on your personal data to third parties if we offer promotions, competitions, contracts or similar services together with partners. You can learn more about this by providing your personal data or in the description of the offer below.

(4) If our service providers or partners are based in a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you about the consequences of this circumstance in the description of the offer.

5. Objecting to the processing of your data / Revoking consent

(1) If you have given consent to the processing of your data, you can revoke this consent at any time. Revoking of consent affects the admissibility of the processing of your personal data after you have notified us accordingly.

(2) Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on the balance of interests, you may object to the processing. This is the case where processing is, in particular, not necessary for the performance of a contract with you, which is outlined by us in the following description of the functions. If you exercise such an objection, we will ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done. If your objection is justified, we will examine the situation and will either cease processing your data or adapt the manner in which we do so, or state our compelling legitimate reasons that require us to continue processing your data.

(3) You may, of course, object to the processing of your personal data for advertising and data analysis purposes at any time. You can inform us of your objection to advertising using the following contact details:

We process the data you provide to enable us to complete your order. In doing so, we may share your payment data with our bank.

The legal basis for this is provided by Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (b) GDPR.

You may voluntarily create a customer account enabling us to store your data for future purchases. When you create an account under "My account", the data you provide will be stored on a revocable basis. You can delete all other data, including your user account, in the customer section at any time. We may also process the data you provide to inform you about other interesting products from our portfolio or to send you emails with technical information.

(2) Commercial and tax regulations stipulate that we must store your address, payment and order data for a period of ten years. Your data will only be used to comply with legal obligations.

If you do not confirm your registration, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store your IP addresses and the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data.

(3) Your email address is the only mandatory information required for sending the newsletter. Additional data, which is indicated separately, may be provided voluntarily to enable us to address you personally. Upon receipt of your confirmation, we will store your e-mail address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (a) GDPR.

Mailingwork GmbH

Administration of the email distribution list and the dispatch of the newsletter is assigned to the provider Mailingwork (Mailingwork GmbH head office: Birkenweg 7, 09569 Oederan, Germany, branch office: Schönherrstraße 8, 09113 Chemnitz, Germany). With this provider, we can organise and analyse the dispatch of the newsletter. The data you enter when signing up to the newsletter, such as your email address, will be stored on Mailingwork's servers.

Dispatching the newsletter with Mailingwork allows us to analyse the behaviour of newsletter recipients. The analysis reveals, for example, how many recipients have opened their newsletter and with what frequency links were clicked in the newsletter.

This data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You may revoke your previously given consent at any time. An informal notification via email is sufficient in order to revoke your consent, or you can unsubscribe using the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. Revoking consent does not affect the legality of the data processing procedures that have already occurred.

If you do not want Mailingwork to carry out any analysis, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data entered to set up the subscription will be deleted from Mailingwork's servers when you unsubscribe. If this data has been transmitted to us for other purposes and elsewhere, it will remain with us.

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files stored on your computer, to help the website analyse how you use the site. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within the Member States of the European Union or other countries that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google is commissioned by the operator of this website to use this information for the purposes of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services to the website operator relating to website usage and Internet usage.

(2) The IP address transmitted by your browser within the context of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

(3) You can adjust the settings in your browser to prevent cookies from being installed. However, please note that if you do this, it may prevent you from making full use of some of the functions of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en(4) This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”.

9. Use of social media plugins

(1) We currently use the following social media plugins: Facebook and Google+. We use the ‘two-click solution’ for this. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plugins. You can recognise the provider of the plugin by the marking on the box above its initial letter or the logo. You can use the button to communicate directly with the plugin provider. The plugin provider only receives the information that you have accessed the respective page of our website if you activate the marked field by clicking on it. In addition, the data referred to under Section 3 of this policy will be transmitted. In the case of Facebook, the relevant providers in Germany state that the IP address is anonymised immediately after collection. By activating the plugin, your personal data is transmitted to the corresponding plugin provider and stored there (in the case of US providers in the USA). Since the plugin provider collects data particularly through the use of cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via the security settings of your browser before clicking on the greyed-out box.

(2) We have no influence on the data collected or on data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full scope of data collection, the purposes of processing, or the storage periods. We also have no information on deletion of the collected data by the plugin provider.

(3) The plugin provider stores the data collected about you as user profiles and uses it for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its website. Evaluation of this kind is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) to display needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the relevant plugin provider in order to exercise this right. We use these plugins to enable you to interact with the social networks and other users so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as the user. Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (f) GDPR provides the legal basis for the use of plugins.

(4) Data transfer takes place regardless of whether you have an account with the plugin provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in to the plugin provider, the data we collect about you will be assigned directly to your existing account with the plugin provider. If you click on the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plugin provider will also store this information in your user account and publicly communicate it to your contacts. We recommend that you routinely log out after using any social network, particularly before activating the button, as this prevents the plug-in provider from linking this data to your profile.

(5) Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plugin provider can be found in the privacy policies of these providers listed below. These also specify further information on your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy.

If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish to have your data assigned to your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as user profiles and uses it for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of its website.
