Towards the end of the 1950s, Carl F. W. Borgward produced the very modern designed Goliath Express 1100 in his Goliath factory in Bremen. The vehicles were known in the 1950s as unusually versatile and powerful.
As a panel van, the Express was one of the largest delivery vehicles in its class, with a cargo area of almost 6 m³. A wide rear door and a side double door made it very convenient to load, and it was possible to transport nearly a ton of cargo with it. With these features, the Goliath Express was suitable for a wide range of transportation tasks. Our model is transporting the "foaming miracle product" - Haka neutral soap - for the HAKA-Werke. In addition, the scale model comes with license plates and rear view mirrors for self-assembly.
