Kit. The ROBUR panel van, which has been produced in a revised form since 1978, differs from its predecessor in that it now has beaded side walls and underride protection at the rear. Initially only available with a petrol engine, a diesel engine was again included in the ROBUR production program from 1982 and was then predominantly installed in the vehicles. The chassis manufactured in the VEB Robur factories in Zittau were sent by rail to Halle for final assembly. The VEB Karosseriewerk Halle there produced the box body and undertook the final assembly of this variant of the ROBUR front-wheel-drive truck, which was used as a delivery vehicle in the retail trade, in the food industry and also in the service industry - to name just a few examples.
